What they do
Sunken Seaweed began at the SDSU marine lab and expanded to Humboldt Bay in 2022, where it describes running a kelp hatchery and nursery. It grows sea lettuce and other edible seaweeds commercially. Its published material describes hatchery-produced nursery stock; whether that seed is sold to third parties is not confirmed in public sources.
