The MLML aquaculture facility at San Jose State University hosts work on the CLASH hatchery technology project, a California Sea Grant and NOAA funded effort running 2022 through 2026 to build a novel, non-proprietary hatchery technology for seaweed production, including Ulva culture. It is a research facility rather than a commercial seed supplier.
